Morning Journal Prompts to Start Your Day Intentionally

Filed in Self Development — February 9, 2021

The idea of a morning journal is that it is going to help you to focus on the day ahead and start things off in a positive way. Of course, you could just get up and promise yourself that you are going to be more positive that day, but who are you kidding? You and I both know sometimes we need to kick our own asses into the groove.  If you actually have to write things down, then this is setting things more in stone.

Creating and keeping a morning journal can be hard to start. So, to help you to figure out what to write, we have put together some of the very best prompts that you can use for your morning journal, making sure that you start your day with intention.  Time to get real with yourself.

One thing that we all need to remember is that we are in charge of how we spend every single day of our lives. We are in charge of how we see the day and how we approach anything that comes up. There are a variety of things that you can do to try and ensure that you see every single day as positively as possible one of the best is to complete a morning journal.  These morning journal prompts will help you start your day intentionally to live in abundance & happiness.  Let’s do this babe.

What do I need today?

One of the most important people in your life is you, so make sure that you start your day off by asking yourself what it is that you need today.  As I have said 100 times and will say 100 more, self-care is not selfish.  So babe, think about YOU and make sure you take care of yourself. It may seem like something which is obvious, but truth be told that it seems to be the thing that we overlook the most. If you know what you need from the day, whether it is physical, emotional, or spiritual, then you are going to be in the best place to start & stop putting yourself last.  Because you are deserving of the world and every dream you have, so start thinking about YOU.

What is exciting about today?

Excitement probably isn’t something that you are going to think will happen every single day, but actually, without realizing it we can find something to look forward to every single day. It could be your favorite dinner, time planned in for a long relaxing bath, that glass of wine I know is on your mind or perhaps just cuddles with your puppers or hubby. I have so many things in my life that I get excited about, but my favorite coffee mug with my favorite coffee is a big one.  Just by acknowledging what you are excited about that day, you will already feel much better about the day.  So get stoked about the little things, because that’s what matters!

What 3 things am I grateful for?

Gratitude is something that we need to show as much as possible. Gratitude not only reminds us of all the good things that are going on in the world and our lives but is also one of the most powerful manifesting tools you can use.  So write down what you are grateful for, every tiny win in your business… and then write down what future goal you WILL achieve is& how grateful you are that it is coming for you.

How can I bring joy to someone else today?

Whilst much of the point of a morning journal is to think about your wants and needs, it is also good to think about what other people may need from you. A good prompt to write every morning is what you can do to bring joy to someone else. Think about how you can make someone’s day better and make sure that you do it. It will give your day a sense of purpose and will also help to spread some joy too.
